Yellow Ribbon Project 2007
Today is a fun & eventful dAy!!!Went out at 6.45a.m and sat thru the whole MRT line from west to east to reach our destination at Pasir Ris for..the yellow ribbon walk cum run cum fair day!! After redemption of the yellow ribbon cap, we went to the starting line where PM Lee Hsien Loong was speaking.. couldnt see him but could only heard his voice..Then the "DJs" announced tt there are about 10,000++ ppl present!! Goodness...
The walk was so long..think it was bout 3.5 km... we felt we have walk so long but in the end only covered 1km..so disappointing..but neverthless, this is a program where we show our support to the ex-offenders by walking an extra mile for em...
Finally we reach the Changi Prison Link!!! tt was like 2hrs later lo..haha..finally after all the blazing sun & the stormy wind..haha..BUT we couldnt find the place to collect our goodies bag!!
So we went to walk 1 big roung with "you push me, i step back" kind of environment..juz imagine the crowd where ppl were standing so close to one another tt they could touch each others skin..yucks!!
At last, we found the place and the queue was like so loooonnnnggg.. we have no choice but to line up..haha..den there were some idoitic person not abiding by the rule to queue up..instead they jus pull up the line & went inside and cut the queue infront of the ppl inside..tt was like so inconsiderate ofthem lo..they think only they are the 1 who wanted the bag..they think we ppl are invisible..they think they eat glass to grow up tt we cant see them when they are like so gigantic..they are truly the ppl who spreads "kiasuism"...
Then we went & tied our yellow ribbon:
Took the shuttle bus tt they had provided to go to Pasir Ris MRT..have our lunch there..afterwards, took the 1 hr ride to JP..Shop @ This Fashion and bought a shirt cum blouse..
