slept @ 2a.m. last night doing project.

had an intensive meeting today which lasted 4 hrs till 5p.m.

i wanna jus drop dead onto my bed right now.

but i cant.

there are jus too many things to be done.

and 2 tests are coming up in 2 weeks time.

2 projects at hand.

another one coming up tml.

what do i gotta do?

n oh ya, pls dun be mistaken.

i am not complaining.

I like this grp much better den the previous 2 semester, although it was made better with eunice (units lol) presence.

previous grp was like either this one was too arrogant, or trying to be a free rider.

bad experience though.

this sem was different.

everyone put in equal amts of hardwork.

everyone put in equal amts of laughter in silly jokes.

but most importantly,

everyone aims for the same goal.

Sometimes, i jus cant understand what my parent is thinking..especially my mum..she is always comparing us to her sister's daughter, who is few yrs younger den us & live in Penang..

she compares us to like how at a young age, they are able to do all kinds of housework, n is working now.

but she ignores the fact tt they dropped school so as to start working..

n tt maybe they were forced to dropp out because of their irresponsible dad who has a extra marital affairs, leading to the divorce?

so wat's so good abt working at such a young age?

i cant think of much except the fact tt you face the reality world earlier..

My mum keep saying why cant me & my sis be like them? y do we have to study so much? gals study so much for wat?

So, we see our lecturer from sem 1 again..Manek..

he was an interesting lecturer who cracks the most interesting jokes..n he even bring into Titanic 'you jump i jump' into discussion..

during our last grp meeting, we found out tt Garrick likes Manek alot so we dicided to push the asking of questions to him..lol..but he also willingly accept mah..hehe...so we not kind of bad hor..=p

n oh ya, kenneth stopped me halfway during break to ask me some qns on my notes...haha..those who saw my handwriting should know tt its quite illegible..n then he surprised me by treating me to a mac breakfast..with orange juice..=)

It really surprised me..haha.. i never really expect sth in exchange..because, tt's wat freiends are for..=)

Yesterday i accompany my dad to go Alexandra Hospital for a medical checkup for his hand..When we reached there, it was the same handsome doctor tt was assigned to us for the past 2 checkup!! His name is Lester ....(not able to disclose full name due to confidentiality) & he dun know chinese although he is chinese..lol..

But then i didnt get my chance to go in cos my sis is going in den mum said tt too many ppl going in will be too troublesome for the doc..hai..

After tt, dad decided to go to the Courts Mega sale @ Tampiness but the decided to change venue to Vivocity cos if we go to Tampiness, we can only shopped @ its Courts..

Reached Vivocity & the first thing dad do is to rushed to the courts & we gals (mum, sis, me) went shopping!!

We went to shops like Fox, Topshop, Forever21, Pull & Bear where i bought a top down there..

Later, we insist on treating our parents to wat @ some high class restaurant but then they rejected, saying tt its a waster of $ & tt they can cooked as well as them..lol..

So in the end, since we decided to have dinner tt night, we went to HarbourFront centre to eat pau..yes, pau..

And then we saw tt big 3-d modelling cruise..Yah, if nothing goes wrong, next yr chinese new year, which we have 4 days of holiday (Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues), we will be going cruis-ing!! To where? not sure yet but probably penang..=)

When to Jurong Point after tt.. & i saw my HP mini!! The price rocketed to $1,100++!! I asked the salesmen there tt i thought there is one tt sells for $799..he said cos this 1 uses Windows Vista ® Business & is released recently..

Hmm..

Yup, i wanna buy a laptop tt is small & portable.. currently on top priority is the Vaio VGN-TZ36GN (white), VGN-SZ75GN/B. the next on the list is the HP mini...

So now i am saving my money to buy tt dream lappy of mine..=)

So pls dun tempt me into doing shopping, eating @ some high class restaurant unless it's celebration of a birthday..For my lappy, i am willing to sacrifice till the step tt i will only spend 50 cents each day for tt sushi of mine..=)

it was so boring watching the lecturer juz going thru the slides blabbering non-stop..n the only break tt he has was our break..

though my presence was there, my soul waa no where to be seen..

i was jus like drifting further & further away from the lesson..

lot's of heads were seen literally faced down onto the table..

Wake up early today at 8 in the morning to catch the library fair @ Expo..

i guess we were considered pretty early cos there were not much of a crowd at the library fair..

anyway, i bought 4 books in total: 2 chinese books + 1 accounting books +1 personal insurance planning..

business books were so difficult to find la.. and so i only manage to find these two..=)

After tt, my sis & i shopped at bugis..

And i manage to get my sis to buy me a bag at the bugis street which after discount is $38..

intend to shop at JP too but then after 7 hrs of standing, my sis said tt her leg hurts so we cancelled our shopping and went straight home..

haha..anyway, it a fruitful day..

so after much of anticipating and anxiousness (although only 1 day of waiting)

we finally got Singtel as our company in our project for fsb..=)

I thought we were doomed cos the lecturer put up the list of companies tt have already been taken, n singtel was inside tt list..starhub too..which was our 2nd priority..

the lecturer said tt he had already sent out a confirmation email to the respective grp..n we haven received anything from him yet ar..n he ended by saying "the early bird catches the worm"..so cliche'..

den during break, i received a sms from kenneth saying tt we got singtel!! hooray!!

so, got our last min meeting after sch..looked thru the qns & assign members to keep a look out on the stock exchange for the next 2 weeks starting from monday..

haha

so happy..at least we do not need to break our head to search for other companies again..

maybe it signifies a good beginning for our grp..

wondering when will the assignment for FPCPR be coming out..the lec said latest by 12 july but there isnt any sign of it still..

now is already the third week & if it was to prolong any longer, the timing will be very tight for us cos there are still 2 more project coming up ya..

A nice dinner being upset by the action of a untie!!

The story goes:

i accompany my mum to go to the drink stall to order fruit juice.. there were 2 ppl infront of me queuing..den when it was my turn, a uncle suddenly popped out of nowhere n stood behind me n gives his order..tt part was ok..wat makes me fumed was the untie took his order AND NOT MINE! i was like wat the.. my mum den asked me can anyhow cut queue de meh?

i gave tt untie a black face n thru her quick glance i guess she notice it too..then when i gave her my order (which is only 3 glasses & not 5 not 10) she gave me a huh?? and so i repeat my order again twice, mind you..

the next part was even more worst n i almost scolded vulgarities (out of my breath)

i handed her a five dollar note n she was supposed to give me back a change of $1.10..n when i stretched out my hand towards tt untie to receive it n saying thank (without the chance to say you yet) she throw the coins into the tray n straight into the water!! guess wat? i have to pick up the coins in tt pool of water!

I was so angry la..really.. i wanted to like scold vulgarities n slap her.. from the moment when she acted like a B*tch & served the uncle first i was already unhappy..so y did she still throw the coins into tt can-be-seen pool of water?

wat was her attitude? i know i too got my attitudde but it was tt untie tt drives this attitude of mine up first.. i shouldnt have said thank you to her first. NO. should not even have tt thought. she doesnt worth me saying it..

i know i shouldnt lose my temper over this kind of person but i was juz so upset abt the fact tt my perfect dinner was smashed totally by the actions of hers.. n i was like for every spoon of rice tt i ate, i scolded tt..yup tt..

Lecture today was like..so mathematical..

but it was nothing compared to yesterday..

juz doing revision yesterday night i found out tt i had to learn like ard 8-9 mathematical formula..although they will be given during the exams..

some of it sounds & seems familiar but it's juz tt they knew me but i dont..=)

for e.g. like std deviation? variance? mean? mode? median? n those more complicated stuff like Real risk-free rate? Nominal risk-free rate? risk premium? holding period return? Coefficient of variance? annuities?

Gotta know wat each of them means & are used for wat purposes...

the lec says tt there is a high failure rate for this course (investment management) n tt's definitley not going to be the case for this yr..=)

finally after days of searching, i finally found 1..although green is not 1 of my fav colour, i feel tt this blog skin kind of let me feel at ease.. dunno y leh..haha..

oh ya.. i finally found my vest!! Yay!!

It was so difficult to search lo.. This Fashion @ JP only have those kind tt are not up to my expectation..so i ga jiao eunice to accompany me to Bugis This Fashion yesterday..hai..even though the building is 2-storey, they dun have it!! Arg..

So today i went to JP again & i saw it!! I think the order juz came in.. cos i saw lots of new vest..erm..not a lot la.. my tt piece only have 2 & they have the new silky vest which i had already..

Den while walking to mybus, i took a sneak peek at the Pasar Malam..

Then i saw this stall, handled by a China gal selling clothes..checkered blouse sia..my fav recently... & it was sold only $10 per piece!!

Hehe..so i bought 1 lo.. no harm mah..lol..

So after pon-ning my lesson yesterday for a bicycle lesson cum birthday celebration @ east cost, the end result is:..

but the fortunate thing is tt i didnt fall down, getting myself cut, bruises here n there..nah.. i didnt get any of those..

i can eat fish burger, but not the 1 at burger king..

i can only eat those tt are "thoroughly" cooked..

nevertheless, we ordered 4 coconut, 1 sting grey, sotong, 1 big plate of hokkien mee shared my 4 ppl, and fried oyster where i only eat the egg..

hmm..i like eggy..

nisa had a concussion before n i had mine yesterday..

marina had it today..

she told her to stop shaking her leg 3x but on the fourth time, she told herself to control & not scream at her..and so after she went away, marina suddenly exploded..on us..talking of how she had headache all this while..lol..

so marina decided to move 1 row infront of us..maybe with nisa tml..so tt will leave me n eunice facing her..n the worst part is tt i have the biggest probability of sitting with her..

I DUN WAN!! i hate leg shakers..nisa & eunice should know abt tt..=p..n it's tt type where her whole body is shaking violently while she shakes her leg..why cant they juz sit still? at most jus fidget abt n tt all tt i can tolerate.. all those shaking are jus going to "shake " away my thoughts & distract me from listening to the lecturer..

but wat can we do? marina had already told her to stop it but she continues..me n eunice thought of like friend with ben they all so tt we can squeeze in the row with them..but tt will leave her all alone..is tt bad?

and it feels really awkward to say her every lesson isnt it?

We are at a loss..for both words n actions..

An update on my 20th birthday..=)

Tt was the mocha mocha tt we ordered from breadtalk (although only i go n collect myself de)..it was so nice!! the sponge cake is greentea in flavour n the cream is mixed with red bean..delicious!!
tt is my dada holding the cutting knife.. i was born on the same day as my dad..30th June..so coincidence ritez..
My CAKE!! i told my mum to help me take a photo of me n the cake but then after my dad blew the candles, i check my phone n there was no me n the cake..aww..my mum dun know how to use my hp sia..but nvm..next yr will be a big 1..

is the eggy cute?? bought it @ action city with vivian & yq..i bought 1 for my sis too although it was suppose to be my birthday..=p..anyway, i took lavendar & my sis took sunflower..i have already planted it n i wonder will it ever hatch..
tt was the birthday present tt my mum bought for me at SK..i think it cost ard $149..additional $10 for en-longing the necklace...ok, its not tt i have thick neck (juz like wat my sis said).. its juz tt my neck is juz "a bit" thicker mah..
