still remember the days where i had told u tt i m suffering from an allergy to the cold?

now, i am not lying..

tt damn allergy is known as

Cold urticaria

when u are exposed to cold things like cold weather, air-conditioning, hives will appear on your legs, hands, neck.. its really itchy and sometimes painful..

i jus hope tt this damn allergy will go away as it has seriously affected my way of living and soon-to-be career.. how am i suppose to tell my employer tt i am allergied to the cold and pls put me far far away from the air-con?

The moment has finally arrived..

I'm fortunate tt I didn't flunked my exams..

I really thought I will fail my investment written exam and sure I have.. Got merely a 48 over 100.. Luckily, to get a pass in this module, u have to pass 40% of this paper and 50% overall..

For me, I've got full marks for my test and full marks for me assignment.. And thus I have already secured a 50%.. Hence, I've got a di..

But wat really disappoint me was IME.. I'm really confident in tt paper but end up o only got a di.. Damn..

For IFO, I thought I might, if lucky, get a HD.. But oh well, di is suffice for me..

IT was a shocked.. I thought for this module I will aim at a HD despite tt irritating lecturer(Seet Ming Kok), but after th written exam, I dropped it to a di.. But on the end it came out a cr.. Sianz.. Heard from Shawn tt many failed IT.. I swear tt marker was bent on killing us.. It's our final yr man!!

Ppl ard me cried. Ppl ard me got agitated. Ppl ard me got... lost..

I guess tts wat we will have to accept.. Things are never going the way u had planned or thought..tts unpredictable life. What u have to do now is to pull urself up, do wat ever u can to amend it. If tts impossible, think of another way out.

If there's a will there's a way..

I have let this big stone of mine go and let it crashed into pieces. And from there, I will only pick those little stones tt I feel like picking.. No more unneccessary pressure..:)

2 days ago my uncle called to say tt THEY ALL cant make it for the qing ming jie (aka paying offerings to your ancestors).. the reason they gave?? cos they will be working on both the saturday & sunday..

ok fine.. u think my dad not working on sunday? he too is working on every sunday..but for every year, he still make it a point to rush home after work and meet up with you ppl for the offerings..

we always make it down every year without fail..

what about ur?? jus because you all got work and decided to give this a miss?? have you ever wondered if not for grandpa and grandma, will your still be born on this world and now able to give this kind of lame excuse??

Have you ever wonder why when the govt decides to build a hostel beside your living place, those ppl voiced so much opinion abt it?

I knew how they feel.. Cos I am in a position as them.. Jus tt my case is worse off.. They jus lived besides me..

Since last mth, when my old neighbour moved to live with their daughter, everything started..

Originally the cornor of the house had already gave me much problems.. Urine everywhere.. Shoes get misplaced(flying everwhere) and even get missing.. Luckily tt idiotic person is gone.. Now tt flat lived more than 8 person.. Male & female, Indonesian & ppl from myanmar..

And now, the flat beside my flat is worse.. It's a mixed combi of blangla and china ppl..i guess there are more than 10 ppl in there..Goodness.. Can u imagine the world I am living in?

I can no longer sit at any open area as I feel tt my privacy is being invaded.. What's worse, everytime at ard 7pm.. The grp of Indonesians, blangla, china ppl, will be like a flock of birds tt swarm pass my door.. Some will even sing as they walked passed..

Idiotic.. It's jus simply idiotic.. Now I wished tt they will drink alcohol and smoked and make a lot of noise.. It's not tt they are not doing tt.. It's jus tt they choose to smoke in the wee hrs.. And den my dad will definitely complain to the MP and den they will move out and then I will regain my freedom once again!!

Went shopping with my sis today @ JP..

Ate pizzahut's soft shell crab pasta.. I think I add too much chilli flakes so it was a bit spicy.. But overall, quite nice.. Oh ya, I am able to eat crab cos tt soft shell crab was being fried before.. Lol.. It wasn't rotten btw..

After eating, we went to shop ard.. Then my sis wanted to buy her toner so we went to the face shop to buy back her usual toner.. But then after looking ard, we decided to go skin food to have a look.. A salesgal came up to us and started to introduce us some of their items tt she thinks are suitable for us..

So in the end we bought, or should I say, my sis bought, together with my share, a total of $300+.. Haha.. Nvm, she's working now and had jus received her bonus.. Haha..

I've gotta buckle up..

sch is tiring..especially if you end class @ 6.30pm in the evening.. & to make things worse, there's a whole bunch of ppl releasing @ the same time as me & the busstop will always be very very full.. buses came & go but i am still stuck @ the busstop cos its either 154 isnt yet to come or i couldnt squeeze onto the bus... & to make things even more worse, there's ngee ann poly....

anyway, this sem subjects are so damn difficult! I've read this & read tt but i jus couldnt seem to understand what the hell are they talking abt.. one moment i guess i know & the other, tt "glimpse" of " know" disappeared..

tests are coming right after the other & there isnt time to loose. If i want to achieve my goal i cant lose to anything now.. NOT YOU, investment, international trade, international monetary economics & intro to options & futures..

CNY Happenings

Went back to Malaysia on Sunday to visit my grandma & grandpa..

it was my dad first time driving in since his last car was killed 5 odd yrs ago..

so the end result was?? we were lost... on our way out of the Malaysia checkpoint, we went the wrong road which lead us to KL but we wanted to go the Skudai road.. so after making a round & round, mum decided to call our uncle to ask for directions.. they told us we can make a U-turn thru the road signal which shows woodland.

so we took the road & to our horror, we were heading straight to the malaysia checkpoint.. we told the police tt we went the wrong way & wanted to find a U-turn. she smiled @ us & didnt stamp the passport & told us there is a U-turn upfront.. we thank her & drove down to the woodland checkpoint, in hope of finding tt road sign..

There wasnt any!!!

and so now we are stuck in the middle of the road b/w the malaysia checkpoint & woodlands checkpoint without having our passport being stamped by the Malaysia police... we were flustered man... any idea who are we now? illegal immigrants lor..lol..

so we drove cautiously to the checkpoint & told the police what happen. she told us to wait for a while for a police escort.. & then few mins later, a police riding a bicycle told us to follow him & moments later we were inside their office... we were like illegal immigrants sitting there while waiting for them to check our passport.. My uncle over there told us tt they will be waiting for us @ the petrol station later.. dad said if it isnt tt we had not had our passport stamped, he would have turn ard & went home le..lol..

so the bicycle police took us for a short cut to the road to the malaysia checkpoint.. barriers were lifted for us.. gates were opened for us.. & we thought we dun have to went pass tt jam again.. oh no we were wrong.. we had to go thru tt circle circle bridge with more cars now..

as we approached the checkpoint, dad had to explain again to the police what had happened since we already had our passport stamped by them earlier..

wah.. what an eventful morining... turning round & round & greeting polices.lol...
oh ya, all tt with our bladder going to burst @ any time..

anway, i guess we will remember by heart which path to go from now..=)

no CPF??

Consider these scenarios:

1. Have you ever came across a company where they insist you on doing part-time & not converting to a permanent worker though you have already worked for them for more than half a century? They claimed its for your own good because the procedure of conversion is complicated. But i guess its because they wanted to save on the benefits such as medical aids.

2. Have you ever came across a company where they keep hiring ppl from M'sia & not from Singapore? U might think its because of the idea of "cheap labour". But actually there's more than tt. Read on.

3. Have you ever came across a company where there are no OT pay when you worked after 7pm? From what i know, there are ppl who worked till 4am in the morning to rush out the goods that are to be delivered later in the morning. They worked so hard so as to accomplished the promise tt you had made to others in delivering the goods & there you are, not awarding or compensating for the hrs & hardwork they put in.

4. Lastly, have you ever came across a company where you need not/had not contribute to CPF when you had worked there for more than half a century? And if you want to contribute to your own CPF, sure. Jus tt the company will not contribute to it.

Now you know why they so desperately want to employ only ppl from M'sia? Because these permanent workers are "cheap labour" as there isnt a need to pay them OT wages. Most imptly, there isnt a need to contribute to CPF.
Darn & they could still get away from all these.

Bugis shopping

Finally!
I finally got the chance to shop @ Bugis today after knowing from my sis & hearing from Eunice tt there are quite a lot of new clothes @ Bugis street..

Met my sis & we went to eat @ V8 cafe AGAIN.. & we ordered their signature dish AGAIN..lol.. it's jus simply delicious.. we then went to the famous "guanyin temple" to baibai.. After tt, it's shopping time!! Me & my sis were like wowing @ every piece of dress tt we went by cos some of them are really very nice.. but we have to take into consideration whether will we wear & on what occassion..

so here's wat i bought: 1 skirt, 2 flowery dresses (which i intend to wear for CNY, hehe) & a sling bag.
here's wat my sis bought: 1 skirt, 4 dresses (also flowery, haha..)

flowery is the in thing now.. y? cos of the korean "wind" tt had blew to Singapore.. almost every shop in bugis street will have those tt are either flowery or lace-y type..

I guess i gotta restrain myself from buying more clothes le.. unless they are really worth it..=)

My Bazaar

My bazaar experience!!

Yesterday, eunice & me set up a booth at the bazaar at the Pits building.. it's a building where you are able to see the F1 racing cars at their start/end position..

we took a taxi down cos eunice's friend are not able to drive us there...the Eureka ppl told us to register by 11am but when we reached there and finally finding out where & which floor the bazaar is held, it was almost 11am, but no Eureka ppl was at sight..no chairs, no tables were set up. The bazaar is starting @ 12 noon & nothing was being set up yet. god....

after waiting for a while, they finally came and after much hardwork hanging up all the clothes and arranging the accessories, we were done!! however, it started to rain....heavily... eunice and me were like ..darn.... in this kind of ulu place + raining, the crowd will definitely be pathetic...& sure enough it was...

initially we had all our price tag confirmed and tag already with prices ranging from per piece @ $3 - $15..then after waiting for like 1 hr, we decided to change them from 1 pc for $6, 2 pc for $10, 3 pc for $12. ppl start coming in but not tt brisk..from the start, our stomach was already grumbling but we managed to tahan till 4.30pm and finally make a call for mac delivery..lol..then to our shock, they said they will need 1 and a half hr to reach us..god...can see how ulu tt place was? although it was near the Singapore Flyer..

seeing tt we still have tons of clothes hanging up, eunice decided to let go of them all at $2..so we drew and colour to change the price tag lol... we managed to make friends there.. all of them complaiining how bad their busn was and had nothing to do..there was this malay untie (she doesnt looks like a untie) who ask me tt if i wanted to go toilet jus inform her cos she will go with me..lol..she said she scared of going alone..haha..
den beside our stall is two very pretty big sister who sold beautiful clothes!! i was eyeing on tt piece of dress with roses but i think i cant fit in cos of..erm..there..haha.. eunice bought a leopard print dress.. they den treat us to candy..hehe..

at ard 6 to 7 pm, ppl were already packing up cos busn was tt bad.. earlier, we had known this uncle who sold belts and from the afternoon to the evening, there were very little ppl who patronise his shop & from what i see, i barely made 2 sales... me & eunice packed up @ ard 7.30 pm, and after calculating, not taking into the taxi fare we took to come down and taking into acct the mac lunch which cost $14.80, we made $86. deducting the rental fee which is $76, we made a profit of only jus $10. but we were happy enough tt we could cover up the rental cost..most of the stall i guess will have difficulty in doing tt..

quite disappointed in how the eureka ppl did it.. they said they will advertise in magazine, anywhere and everywhere that will attract the attention of the ppl with spending power.. ya crap..ppl who turn up were all teens , mums..

overall, both of us had a good time (playing ard) although the profit was pathetic.

seriously, 2 hrs to do 6 20 marks essay qns is not enough.. i remember writing like 4-5 pages in the A level for a 25 marks econs essay.. but now, i am contrain to write as little as only 2 pages.. i hope i get all the points in..=p

anyway, now i am left with 3 more papers to go.. risk management tml, busn finance & price theory the next week..

i dun know why but there had been quite a no. of accidents happening ard my house.. most of it is jus motorbike skidding across the road when making their turn, if not, is jus them losing balance..

but there are others which are much more severe...

i was on the internet 1 week ago when i heard a faint "bump" sound... a few hrs later, dad & mum came home & told me tt there were a fatal accident @ the "big carpark" (carpark for big buses & lorries)... the carpark is1 street + a drain away from my house.. dad wants mum to bring me down to have a look so as to let me & my sis know tt this kind of accident can happen instead of saying "got meh?" everytime.. below is the photo i took..

jus look @ how squashed the car is.. there were rumors saying tt a dad was trying to teach his daughter how to drive but apparently when making a turn, either the daughter accelerate too much, or she did not turn the steering fast enough, hence bumping into the lorry which then bump into the bus beside it.. i guess the dad must have suffer more damage than the daughter jus by looking & the pics... goodness..

& then jus know when i returned home & was abt to switch on the radio, i heard a loud "BANG".. when i looked out of my window, i saw a Singtel van topple over the road side a beside it was a car with a damaged front.. it seems like it was the car tt bump onto the van, making the van losing its balance & landed on the pedestrian pathway...and then i saw a women dressed in pink ran out from the driver seat and dash across to the other side of the road & fall to the ground. her hands were high up in the sky... she seems traumatized..

saw the huge crowd gathering @ the grass there? before the arrival of the ambulance, some of them went forward to approach the women to try to calm her down.. there were others who stopped & try to retrieve the driver inside the van.. i dun think they were successful.. my god, i hope there isnt any serious injuries inflicted..

I had experienced a very annoying error from my blog since yesterday.. tt was after i finish typing the bintan trip post.. & then when i try to click on my navigations on my blog, nothing seems to come up..

& so jus now i set up a new blog & import everything.,. th same problem persist..

finally, i tried to edit my Bintan trip post and found there are errors on the wording... some html wordings tt i didint typed jus appeared.. so i retyped the whole thing & tada!! my blog is saved!!

Phew! wasted the whole morning & afternoon jus trying to save my blog.. dun wanna change to a new blogskin yet cos this blog is jus fantastic..

My Bintan Trip!!

Went to Bintan on the Saturday with my sis, Kelly & her brother & sis..=)
woke up @ about 6am to have breakfast with my mum @ GP..I had roti prata!!

next, we took the mrt to tanah merah where we will be meeting up with the rest..had to checked in 1 & a half hr earlier..

we then took bus 35 to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal..my fist time setting foot on this place.. after checking in, those three haven had their breakfast yet so we sat down & watched them eat..yummy!
we then waited & waited before they finally lifted the gate to allow passengers to board the cruise. the platform was swaying with the sea waves & it felt as if we were floating..lol..the personnel stood @ the entrance to the ferry & held us by the hand cos the whole thing was swaying & there was a hole b/w the platform and the cruise..

took a few pics from inside the ferry..buy everything was quite misty..noted tt we were sailign across the South China Sea.. after tt, i dun know what happen le cos i was already sleeping ...till they announced tt we had reached.. Bintan here i come!!

they had a bus to take us down to our Bintan Lagoon Resort.. i guess the journey down there took abt 15-20mins.. saw Paser Oleh Oleh on the way down... quite far away from our lodging..

the Resort was simply gorgeous.. there were the Bintan gals tt danced upon our arrival & we were given fresh lime juice.. i think cos we looked quite loss when we approached the attendants so she served us personally.. we were sitting @ one side away from the rest of the lodgers who had to queue up to check-in..lol.. it make us looks like we are VIP.. hehe.. she gave us immediate access to one of the rooms while the other room is only accessible after 3pm..

the room is airconditioned with tv, refrigerator, balcony, two beds, and a large sitting area.. the bathroom has a bath tub!!

after lying ard the room, we made our way to explore.. the food there all seems quite ex.. then we decided to book a spa..tt's our main purpose here!!

But, the pricing were all very ex..60 min for a traditional javanese message for $99..so we took out our list of brochures tt we were given when we came out of the Bintan check point... their prices were so reasonable compared to here.. after much discussing, we booked a taxi to drive us down to Paser Oleh Oleh.. chooses a $55 package which includes message, body scrub, suana, body lotion.. for 2 & a half hr..

and so, we had to naked ourselves and only wear the bottom.=) the guy were separated..hmm.. actually he was jus beside the gal except tt a curtain was drawn..lol..

the first step was bodt message.. OUCH!! was what i could describe.. especially @ the neck part.. pain wor..i think tt took abt 1 hr plus.. after tt, the four of us cuddle into 1 suana room..lol.. @ first the temperature was 55 degree & we had to stay put there for 40 min.. but then the temperature was crawling up.. and kelly couldnt tahan so she went out for a breather..the rest of us continued.. kelly went in after 10 min.. & so we decided tt when the temperature reaches 60 degree or the time shows 35, we jus go out.. but when it reaches 59 degree, the gals said tt time's up..haha.. we were like "phew"

after tt, we were bought back to the same room and it was body scrubing time!! with all the sweat tt is..haha..

then they took us for a bath before finally putting body lotion on us.. we were served hot ginger tea thereafter.. it was dinner time den!! the sky was already dark althought it was still 6.30pm.. so @ singapore time its already 7.30pm..

after much discussion, i think one of the person working there offered to drive us to kelong for our dinner FOC & charge SGD 20 to drive us back to our resort.. so good!!

ordered butter cereal prawn, lemon chicken, sambal kangkong, sotong, sotong mushroom.. some of them drank vodka while i drank lime juice.. the total price was $190 which shock us all..luckily we bought enough $$..

since we told the driver tt he can fetched us up @ 9pm, we took a walk ard.. most of it was posing for pics..lol..when we reached our room, we had a good bath again..hehe..playing water in the tub..lala~~

then we meet our late @ night to see the route down to the beach cos we had loss our chance to see the sunset so e need to catch the sunrise..

sleeping time after the route-ing was done..
i woke up @ 5am & called my sis..she told to go brush first but after i returned @ call her again, she said still early since the sun will only rise @ 6am so call her up @ 5.30am instead..hai.. the usual pig..

after the other 2 gals were ready & so is my sis we settled off.. but the sky was already bright le..so .... the sun was already up..hai..

so we contined walking down to the beach and played with H2O.. as we ventured deeper into the water, i suddenly noticed sth moving along the sand.. @ fist i spotted a tail & i thought it was a snake but then as i followed the tail to the body, i realised it was a stingray.. so i quickly called the others up to the shore.. they couldnt see anything cos it has swam away.. but then i saw another 1 gliding thru and the rest saw it too.. so we decided it's time to go back & prepare for our free breakfast!!

t was actually a breakfst buffet with beehoon, kway teow,cakes, sausages, hotcakes, salad, ham, cereals, egg (oh, you had to queue up for it cos it's so popular, took us abt 20 min to get the eggs), bread & many many others.. they have milk too & my fav orange juice! Yippy!!
such a sumptuous breakfast... i think i am gaining weight le..lol.. after our breakfast, we went for some fast souvenir-ring cos we didnt have the time to do tt yesterday..sorry gals.. after some packing up, we waited @ the lobby after checking out & off we go! slept @ the bus again..hehe..
Dad picked us up @ the ferry terminal & drove us for our dinner..had fish soup with rice.. interestingly, i managed to finish te whole bowl of rice which could last me for a week..lol.. & then there were this selling tissue man in his early 40 i think approaching us.. he was initially asking the ppl on the other side of the table but was being refused. then he approaches me.. i didint even looked up @ him man.. i jus shocked my hand.. i jus hate this kind of ppl.. they have hands, they have legs.. they have everything a normal human beings have.. but why did they have to resort to this kind of "pestering" for a living.. they can contribute more to the society by working or approaching the CC for help.. but here they are, wasting their time away & annoying others.. hmph.

anyway, After bathing, i immediately dropped dead onto my bed cos i had a slight flu & woke @ the next day @ 10am..lala

going to start studying le.. macro test coming next week..

I thought i had nothing to blog abt today but a sms i received jus now jus makes me so pissed off tt i wanna blog abt it..

it's regarding a friend's birthday present.. nah.. dun worry eunice, this post doesnt concern the gals..

anyway, i received a sms today from him tt to meet tml to buy present.. i was like.. told him tml cant cos i have sth on.. skipping lesson to go Bintan.. Then he called... i miss it..the second time he called, my ringtone makes my heart skipped a bit.. & jus nice i was already very irritated & frustrated from doing the risk mgt notes.. so i ignored it..

And so, he called & called & called & all the time it jus makes me jump because of the ringtone. You might asked me why i didnt set it to vibration. Because, i had to wait for the fivestar ppl to call me..tt's y i cant set it to vibration mode..

so @ ard 8pm+, he sent a sms to tell me to pass him the money for the present first tml.. I was like.. i already told you i had sth on & why cant you all pay for the present first den i will pay u ppl back? Man, I was so angry & so i told him again tt i HAD sth on & since this is the case i will jus go & buy her present myself.

He replied y i always so last min..

so, tt was how i burst into fire.

I shoot him back. who is the last min person here? This isnt the first time tt you all always makes last min decision. It's always this line " we meet tml @...". Y cant you all be more decisive & decides the date @ least 1 day before the actual "commencement"?? I hate & I am very tired of this last min planning..

you all jolly well knows tt her birthday is on sunday, but shopped for her present like...the day before? & still accuse me of saying last min? If i haven made a pact with you guys, i would have already bought her present. I had even bought her birthday card 2 weeks ago.....

Come'on man, pls reflect on yourself before you start pointing your damn big finger on others & accuse them..

I admit i was in the wrong too but it was because you all had really pushed it too far..

tt car keeps zooming past SIM and it catches my attention because of its unique car logo.. the "T"

It's abt our local price theory lecturer named Mr. Sam Lee.. It's true tt he's a bit arrogant and likes using sarcasm like " Can you all behave like human beings?"

BUT

were we supposed to open our mouth when they are counting the scripts?

recall: When you were sitting for you O'levels or N'level or A'level, did you starting talking when the invigilators are counting the scripts? I bet you dun.. so why are u doing it now?

It's apparent tt the noise level is too high for him & the other 2 teacher-in-charge to ac comprehend, tt's why he said the sentence above. the class were quiet for a moment and the next, ppl started talking again.. Isnt it obvious tt "they" are really "not human" cos they couldnt even do self contraint?

And, y keep saying tt his is useless and such things? tt he is not delivering the lecture well?? Isnt he trying to do his best too? He PREPARED those pwerpt slides for us and saved us from the agony of having to copy like siaoz from the "alien" handwriting remember? he's trying to improve the quality of materials been delivered to us. But there you are, complaining & complaing & COMPLAINING....

finally its my sis's rest day!!

and so we decided to go shopping..

i suggested going bugis so the planning of the day rest on me..

i started searching last night on the places tt we could eat @ bugis junction den i stumbled across V8 Sony Movie Cafe.. there were quite a few good reviews abt the place & ppl said the food there was affordable..

man.. tt place was hard to find..all i know was tt its no. is #03-29..

luckily my sis saw its advertisement outside its window..

the moment we walked in, we were like "wow"

the ambiance is so nice, with all the little lighting ard.. and it was showing mr bean..lol.. so we ordered their signature dish: grilled chicken with bacon & cheese (including mash potato & coleslaw).. & it also comes with a drink & soup of the day all for jus $11.80..yummy.. we ordered a onion rings side dish for $3.80..

overall, everything is great!

N after sitting there for 1hr, we went to kinokuniya cos my sis wanted to buy a travel book..& we decided to purchase Japan..=)

next, we rushed down to shop @ bugis street cos we planned to leave @ ard 4.30 to go diaso @ IMM..

bought quite a few things @ bugis street..all my fav..=)

Oh, and my sis has given me $100 for last mth & this mth allowances..YIPPY!!

i am going to save it for my future plans.. or can it "tahan" till den?? lol..

Accident

i think there's a accident across my home..

it's the drain.. someone fall down into the drain..

there were 1 ambulance, 1 civil defence & 3 police car..

ppl were like parking @ the double yellow line to come out of their car to see what was happening..

as for me,

one moment i was standing @ my mum's room & the other i was running to my room's window to see which position will enable me to see clearer..haha..busybody me..

but i managed to see the paramedics pushing a botak guy into the ambulance..

yesterday, i went to expo with my dad & mum..sis is working

dad drove the car down..finally i dun have to endure the pain of having to sit or maybe stand inside the mrt from the west to the east..hehe..=)

so wat's our main purpose down there??

to buy a gps..@ the harvey norman..

walked ard the booth & the only gps brand tt we could see is shinco..

they had a promotion for one of their gps which is going @ $299 instead of the $599.. it was 7" LCD.. but wat i was eyeing on wasnt this but another 5" which costs $459..

it's smaller & clearer & enables you to upgrade your map lifetime for free & it's 3D..

& after much scrolling & thinking, we decided to buy the 5" version as it is more portable..

after tt, we wanted to sit down for a drink and then shopped @ the metro sales..

but then, my sis called to said tt she had released & so we rushed down from expo to NUH..

hmm..no metro sales for me le...

nvm..

went to boonlay to have our lunchner..=)

then make it in time to watch the NDP..

went to see Harry Potter & the half blood prince with the SIM gals @ plaza sing..

wonderful movie.. although before watching i had already received some negative feedback abt the movie,i still must say it is a MUST-WATCH movie for die-hard fans for harry potter.. (p.s. i am one of those too although i didint go into the extent of buying the book)..

so sad, Albus Dumbledore died..

i was actually going to rant all abt snape when he used the unforgivable curse (avada kedavra) on dumbledore.. but after researching ( i haven read the last book), snape is actually not a bad guy...

anyway, after the movie, we decided to have a walk walk @ Ion orchard..nothing to buy there as the price were way too high for us commoner.. maybe next time..

Why does she have to pay a price 2x more than what her room-mates are paying?

It's a 4 room flat

her brother is living in a room..

her friend is living in a room..

she & her sis is living in a room..

her brother is paying $450..

her friend is paying $450..

But why does she need to pay $900 for herself & her sis??

pls dun give me the excuse tt cos she & her sis = 2 person..

its jus bullsh*t..

there are 2 ppl sharing 1 room, while there are others having a room to themselves..

but they are paying the same price..

if it was you, would you feel justified??

Yup!! after i got my license, the way up busselton jetty which is about 50km (45min) was the very first destination!! It's 1.8km into the Indian Ocean.. but it was a pity cos when we reached there, i guess cos its winter, they shut the gate as the wind & the waves were too large..so we only managed to walk a few metres...

Sis's commencement day

Went for my sis's commencement today @ NUS..

man.... the ppl there were either to-be-lawyers or to-be-doctors..

wow wow..

anyway, i wore a beautiful black dress tt i bought @ Dano with eunice..

cos it was FS, i altered tt dress......quite a lot..

i altered the back of the dress to make it less spacious... tt took me abt 3 hrs.

and then i felt tt the dress is quite short.. so i decided to alter the inner lining into a short..=) tt took me 30 mins..

but then the inner lining got shorter as a result & the lower part of the dress is lace so it got quite transparent.. hai..so i looked through my wardrobe & found a black silk belt tt i guess i wont be using it anymore..

guess wat?

i sewed the belt onto the transparent lace & tada!!!

a beautiful dress is complete.. @ 2.30a.m...LOL..

ok..back to the beginning....

after the commencement, they went to do their nursing license and i tag along with them..=)

after tt, we went to novena square to have our lunch..

decided to have dim sum..yummy!! buffet @ only $10.20 per person..

my birthday celebration

yesterday, i celebrated my 21st birthday with the travelling gang..i.e. my sis, kelly & yu ling..

i thought after 1 week of not seeing each other, our relationship will be quite awkward.. especially with yu ling..

but i guess i think too much

we are still tt "bubbly" bunch tt we were before in perth..

walking ard sentosa holding a map..

trying hard to find where we wanted to go...

hopping on buses.. strolling along the beach..

it all jus reminds me of the day tt we had while we are in perth..

hmm.. how i miss those days..

anyway, for the first time in my life,

i went to the underwater world..

i went to see my beloved dolphin @ Dolphin Lagoon..

and for the very first time i wore a orange shirt..lol.. a colour tt bright tt i always give it a miss..

but most importantly, i felt bliss... with friends & family ard me celebrating my birthday..

after our sentosa trip, we decided to go catch a movie.. and i guess the three gals (me, my sis & kelly) quite badly wanted to watch ghost of girlfriends past.. but yu ling insisted on watching other movie..lol..and so, the MINORITY wins over the MAJORITY..

we watched "The taking of Pelham 123"

it was a above average movie than what i had expected.. at least i enjoyed watching..

reached home at ard 11pm++

oh ya, i forgot to mention..my dad had the same birth-date as me!!! so,

went to sch with nisa on sat to print our notes and also to pay my sch fees.. but i didnt get my chance to pay cos by the time i reach sch, it's already 12.15pm and the office closes @ 1pm.. watsmore, there were like 20 ppl inside waiting and 10+ more others standing outside.. so i gave up..

this sem's notes were "gigantic".. 1 stack (500 pgs) werent enough..and i had to went down to popular to buy another stack..

anyway, i went down today again to pay my sch fees.. took the temperature checks and i was lucky enough not to have a temperature higher then 38 degree celcius.. if not, i will have to fil in a travel declaration form and if they knew tt i jus came back from australia, tt's the end for me..i bet they will call in a ambulance..i'm not kidding..

gonna celebrate my 21st birthday @ Sentosa tml with the travelling gang...woohoo!!

A sudden buyer

yesterday morning i received a email from a person @ a forum asking me whether am i still selling the organisational behaviour on the pacific rim..

tt was a post i posted last december and i guess after he sent the email, he must have regretted cos the below post stated tt i had already sold the book..

but he was lucky la..cos tt person whom i wanted to sell to did not contact me thereafter and hence i am still holding the book..=)

so i emailed him back ard 10 in the morning and after tt i reached home @ ard 10pm+ cos i went to my friend's house for steamboat=)

he replied twice..

the first one he said tt he had already bought the first edition and will asked whether he can returned it or not and hence wanted me to leave my contact no. behind.. he gave his too.. tt was ard 2pm..

then he sent another email ard 3pm, saying tt he had already returned the book and asked whether i can meet him tonite or tml morning..

it was already 10pm now le wor.. but he noted in his email tt he drives.. so i sms him to asked whether he still wanna the book and i realised tt he lives in hougang!!

he said he will drives to my house..wow..from hougang to jurong west..

anyway, i earned a $25 although the original cos abt $70+.. it was a total waste of money to buy tt book man..i only use like less than 10 pages..lol..

To the gals (Eunice, Nisa & Marina)::

thanks for helping me celebrate my 21st birthday on friday!!

was really shocked with the range of events & surprises you had for me & nisa..

Celebrated my birthday (30th june) in advance with nisa (7th june) with the sim gals..

as marina was having tuition in the morning, the three of us met up @ bugis to have lunch first.. den suddenly, eunice said she wanted to buy sth & then she disappear..

me & nisa waited & waited then suddenly eunice popped up from nowhere & handed each of us a REAL sunflower.. we were shocked la..lol.. but nisa's sunflower couldnt last thru the days & its petals start falling off in the middle of the day.. even if she poured water and tie a plastic to the stalk, it cant beat my sunflower which is strong & haven even dropped a single petal..LOL..

Eunice treated us to pastamania.. and so coincidentally, the three of us wanted Cheeze sausage Salcissia with Apple Crumble!!

anyway, while nisa went for her prayer @ some mosque, me & eunice decided to walked & meet her halfway.
man, the sun was scorching!! we had sweat tickling down our back but nisa was nowhere to be seen & didnt picked up her call.. so we decided to wait for her in a sheltered building..

but who knows.. nisa called later and i think she had already walked out from the mosque is now somewhere out there.. we gave our location & decided to meet somewhere but to no avail..haha.. the three of us were like searching for each other..high & low..

finally, we saw her from the street across..hai..

we took a taxi down to esplanade cos eunice said marina will be meeting us there.. when we reached, i saw a gal holding 2 BIG balloon..YES!! its marina!!

she handed me & nisa a ballon each & instantly i felt like i am a kid.. carrying flowers &&&&& balloon..LOL..

after tt, we walked a long stretch to see the Merlion..YES! its working right now after the lightning strike..

den we settled for starbucks and the two gals left me and nisa behind..so the both of us started talking..

after a long long time, those two finally returned with a plate of cakes presented for us..they were exhausted froom trying to light up the candles against those winds but to no avail..LOL..so cute!! it's ok la gals cos the cake tasted so delicious!! THANKS!!!! MUACKS!!!

after starbucks, marina suggested we go to marina barrage..so we took a taxi down.. BUT, the taxi driver miss a turning point & off we go to suntec to make a u-turn..dude...

It's my first time entering into marina barrage since it first opened..LOL..we sat inside a cafe and started talking..then eunice noticed a rainbow!! so nice!!! LUV IT!!

after tt, we took the shuttle bus and departed our way..

despite being tired out from the walking adn carrying, we had a fun and good laugh day together..

THANKS GAL, for celebrating my 21st birthday with me..

my Kimage experience..

went for my rebonding session this morning @ Pioneer Mall with my sis..

decided on Kimage then..

a senior hair-stylist helped do my hair while a leading one helped my sis..

what more can i say?

their service is really really very good..

they are attentive to you & treats you like a VIP.. lol..

i paid $200 (after a 20% d/c with the kimage card) for my rebonding while my sis paid $186 (10% d/c) for soft straightening..

so we have decided

tt our next session will be theirs too!!

A long break...

i guess it has been ages since i last upated my blog..

nothing much happened actually..

jus tt my life got emptier without those frens ard me and although it's jus the beginning of the break, i am longing for sch to reopen!!!

anyway, will be going to perth no matter wat happen.. no matter wat happen to the flu situation.. i guess..

jus hope tt it wont get so serious up to the level where my parents forbids us to go..

hmm..

i guess my results will be out ard june.. i guess everything should be fine..

i worked hard for this semester cos i know tt in order to be out above the others in this century, you have to proved tt you are worthwhile for the employer to employ you..

tt's why i am aiming for the award with distinction cos there isnt any honours for this course..

anyway, will be going to rebond my hair tml in preparation for the perth trip..

rebond so tt my hair will be more "tamed" during my duration there..

I saw a Porsche last night!!

while i was studying in the wee hours, i decided to take a toilet break and when i was standing @ the window about to go in, i heard "zoom zoom" sound.. it seems far but i know what that sound means..

IT's some kind of sports car coming!!

& so i stand rooted to the ground to wait for it to come..

and surely, there it was!!

white in colour and from far i thought it was a Lamborghini..

it was driving so far in a ridiculous speed sia..

but then to my surprise, it drove in to the lane below my house.. i couldnt really see who was driving it cos it jus went zoom past me.. what i saw was burred image..

although it disappeared, i still could hear tt unmistakable "zoom zoom" sound..

after coming out from the toilet, tt sound was still zooming some where and then it got closer..

in a flash, it was right below my house again and i suppose there is traffic infront so the fellow slowed down.. it was a guy driving with a babe beside him..nah..it's not a ang moh...

it was then i realised tt it was a porsche!! due to its unmistakable head lights..

aww..so cute!!

i guess it drove towards JP but although my door was shut and my window was shut cos we opened air-con, tt zooming sound was still crystal clear..

COOL!!

anyway, law is draining me.. i had been doing research for it for 1 week and i haven finish..

I've received my driving licence le!!

i thought they will jus deposit it intomy letterbox.. but then it was actually a registered mail..

at least they are doing sth tt exceeded my expectation when i paid $50 for the licence..

yesterday, i acc my sis to her driving lesson.. we were late i think for abt 10 mins.. but luckily the instructor is still willing to wait for her..lol..

i was sitting there "rotting" for tt 1hr & 40min... seeing cars zooming pass me...

aww...i wish i have a car now so tt i can drive..

anyway peeps, i am sorry tt any invitations from u guys for shopping i will have to reject..

cos my exam is ard the corner & i promise i will be all yours (for certain days) on may..

wake up @ 7.30a.m even though there isnt any sch today..and there wont be any cos it's the study week now..

anyway, we took the MRT & alight @ redhill and walked all the way down...

perhaps it was still early cos there seems to be only us walking..=p

anyway, so we decided to come back later cos most of the showroon werent open yet..

Mitsubishi I is cute!!

Kia Cerato Forte is jus awesome but i jus dun like their logo..perhaps it's too simple for me? the kia wording in a circle..hmm..

anyway, i cant find the showroom for Madza..hai..

but Toyota Corolla Altis is jus as awesome..

we were struggling for a long time in decidind whether to buy Vios or Altis.. cos the difference is 10k..

but in the end, we decided on altis since it is a newer version and bigger & more majestic..

hehe..

so the total price to be paid is $56,888......

i guess i will have to be thrfit from now on le..

no more frequent shopping for me le..

but,

I want my Corolla Altis!!

went to shop @ IMM with my sis after tt..

we were literally soaking wet cos we thought since it's only drizzling then we shall walk.. but who knows? it suddenly started to rain heavily..hai.. pool of water jus greeted me by helping me to wash both my shoes & feet..

were drifting ard to see whatwe could have for lunch & finally decided to settle for CAFE' CARTEL..

TT WAS A WRONG CHOICE.

no only was their svc bad but also their attitude..

we ordered cheddar fries but they gave us fries.. we wanted to exchange the food but then suddenly it seems tt all the waitress jus disappeared..

and i wondered. there were only like ard 5-6 ppl patronizing their restaurant and they can still serve the wrong order..

next up was their food.. it sucks!! wev ordered baked rice.. and it turns out to be chessy-soupy rice.. the rice were jus soaked in liquid cheeze la.. we didnt finish tt of course..

next up as our cheeze cake..when we asked the waitress to serve out cheeze cake, she gave us tt sianz look & jus walked away..

but what irritates me most is when we are paying our money..

my sis treated me and so she handed her NUS debit card to the cashier and after having repeated error and typing in her password for 3x, she said tt soory this card couldnt be used cos it had reached the daily limit..

so i was thinking, oh.................ok............... maybe tt NUS debit card's limit is ONLY $ 200 cos my sis jus deposited $200 into her BBDC account..

so i handed her my Nets card for which i have used it @ the BBDC to pay for the $50 application fees for my licence..

after trying for once, it appeared the same scenario as my sis.. then i think a person of higher status ( or was it still the same) came and the cashier relates the problem to her.. so we tried out card one more times cos she thinks i typed my password wrongly..

so i thought. oh.................ok............... maybe i typed my password too fast...

BUT DEN

the same problem occurred..and then she said this card cant be used cos i have already exceeded the limit..

WTH la.. u think my nets's limit is only $50?

and are u sure tt we dun have enough money inside?

y do you need to give tt "i-think-you-stole-someone's-card" look?

it makes us as a custoemr feels like we were wrongly blamed for..

so in the end i paid ht cashier cash..

BUT

me & my sis wanted to try out if it's really our problem.. so we shopped @ Espirit & i used my card to pay.. no problem.

next we went to check my sis's card @ The Body Shop... it passes..

so the conclusion is" YOUR MACHINE IS FAULTY LAH!!!!!!!!"

still dare to push the blame to us..

the food sucks

everything abt them sucks to the core..

and it will be my last time entering into this "low-class-restaurant" @ IMM..'

recalling back, i was nervous like hell lor.. 15 min before my warm-up session, i went to the toilet and suddenly have this urge to shit.. oh god nisa, i have the same symptoms as you..lol..

so, my sis waited for me @ the counter the whole time=)

anyway, my hands felt cold as if they were freeze..

my test route is 9.. and the moment i turn out from the BBDC & the tester wants me to turn left, i heaved a sign of relieve.. cos it's a "bukit batok" route..=p

nothing major things happen (i think).. this is as compared to the morning session @ 8a.m... my weakness in lane changing surfaced up due to the heavy traffic.. but the 12 noon traffic isnt tt bad..

anyway, all the while i have been preparing for the emergency brake, but he didnt test me on tt..wahahha..

after tt, i sitted alone @ the briefing area while waiting for the tester to return to announce my results.. my mind was in a blank..

finally he returned adn said tt i will need more practice to accumulater morev driving experience and congratulations for passing. I PASSED!!!

hooray hooray!!

although the application of my licence took me one & a half hour but it was all worth it..=)

luckily, all my anger diminishes as the four of us went "window" shopping @ orchard!!

took a cab down & the fare was only $8+ divided by the four of us..hehe..

they introduced me ard cos it wa only the fourth time tt i stepped into orchard..

shop shop shop

and since me & eunice had the takashimaya's voucher, we went ard looking for things tt we could buy..

i didnt fancied anything so i requested marina to introduced some perfume to me.. and i personally like Ralph Lauren, perhaps because of their slogan "Romance, Always yours" sounds so nice ya..haha..

tried some of theirs and i really liked their WILD.. smell so sweet! but their prices were not tt cheap. 30ml cost $65, 50ml cost $90+ & 100ml cost $100+.

i bought the 30ml.. cheapest mah..and as i had the $40 voucher i spent only $25 bucks!! hehe..

after tt we went to look for what eunice could buy..

and finally (haha), she fancied a long blouse.. it cost ard $50, and the salesgal gave her a 25% d/c + with her $30 voucher, che only paid $6+..

after tt, out legs were tired out from the walking (4 hrs), and so we rested on some benches and then 2 schoolings approaches us to help them to purchase some items , to do out part to help the needing children. me & eunice bought their t-shirt while marina bought their badge.. nisa..ermmm..haha..

after tt, me & nisa wanted to go home le so we parted..walked to the underpass with nisa and she parted with me @ DG..

anyway, i luv the company from them..

and the four of us had already confessed to each other le..

went for my morning lesson yesterday and guess what?

when me & eunice reached our venue (lt 1-02), we saw quite a few of our classmate sitting outside the benches..

and as i was wondering why, i saw tt our room was posted a notice "UOL Revision, pls use the other entrance"

wth?!

then where are we going for our lecture?

then sharon came and discuss with the gal sitting outside the room, & then she gathered the whole bunch of us and said tt apparently the system doesnt recognise her booking of the room and so this room "legally" today belongs to the UOL ppl.. but she did open another room which can only fit in abt 100 and our class has more than 300 ppl.. so she wanted a vote of hand who wanted the lecture to continue agst who wanted to postpone the lec..

only few hands were raised for each category. then our lecturer (Prof. Sheh) came up and doing the action of "le-long-ing", said tt perhaps we can cancel away our lesson today but he will stay back in tt room to do revision for us..

so the four of us, thinking tt since we had already reached the sch & doesnt want to waste our fare, stayed behind. we thought there will be quite a no. of ppl staying back but no & according to the calculation of eunice', only abt 50+ ppl turned up..

oh great..

luckily, Prof Sheh did go thru sth useful.. he went thru with us what kind of qns will turn up for the commanding heights & the MCQs for the past yr for which we didint have the paper..

tt did ease my anger a little..

jus before the day, me & nisa were chatting on the msn & both of us were getting upset abt what is becoming of SIM..

first suddenly there were no refreshment

then no printing of notes

then now we have to own self collect our transript

then print our own exam sheet

and now this sh*t happens

is the system tt retarded to not inform the booker earlier tt the booking had failed?

our time table came up on last dec and now is march

does the SIM system needs tt long time to inform sharon?

where is their svc attitude?

and stupid me still doing their survey few weeks ago on their servicing attitude and giving them all a pass

today, my instructor treated me to Chrysanthemum tea!!

i thought where is he driving me to cause he didnt dropped by a place to change the steering over..

and then when he finally stopped, he asked me whether i wanted to drink anything and i said "nah"

but then when he returned, he said he bought tt tea for me & put it beside me into the slot..

haha..i think he teaches me abt 5x le so we knew each other quite well..=)

and then for half of the lesson i didnt touched the drink cos i got no time to open.. den when we were going out the circuit & i stopped, he asked me whether i wanna drink ocs it will be better to drink it cold and so he opened for me..haha..

anyway,

i was being horned @!!

it's not my fault. cant the taxi driver sees tt it's a stop line? & tt i have the obligation to stop UNLIKE YOU?

today's law lecture was so "stressed" sia.. the lecturer said tt if we fail this subject, we may have to take a completely different law course cos they will be changing the syllabus after our batch.. And he emphasised tt the exams is ten times tougher than the past yrs..

and tt if we jus copy from the textbk and if we are lucky enough, we may get jus a pass (below tt is a fail)

Today's lesson starts @ 9a.m.. and i actually miscalculated the timing for my alarm..so i woke up 30 min late.. But luckily, the moment i reached the bus stop, 99 came..=)

Macro test today was "chicken feet" la!! except for the last qns..

it seems tt whenever there is a commanding heights qns, those 3 gals will choose exactly the same ans except for me. and the ans they chosen is correct..y?? haha..next time pls give me hints ya..

oh i guess there isnt any next time cos tt's it for macro test. the next time will be the final exam in which we wont be sitting like we used to; arms touching arms..=(

anyway, class ended @ 12 noon, but tt "peanut" insists on us watching finish the commanding heights video, for which he also gave up after we seem a bit impatient as the time drags on..haha..

went to nisa's place after tt.. her place is @ punggol which 20 yrs in my life i had never step foot on.lol.. so for the first time i took the NEL & sit thru the whole till it reaches punggol... and for the first time in my life too, i took a LRT to nisa's place..haha...

So Eunice asked: " are u a singaporean?"

I replied: " erm, ya..."

her place was like so hidden among the flats......and fishes (fish & co?)hehe.. so after turning here and turning there, we reached a corner in which in resemblance what we had jus walked thru..oh well, i guess everywhere seems pretty much the same..

the moment i entered her house, i was greeted by a delicious scent of......ayam!!!

her mama cooked for us spaghetti with heaven-like sauces+ drooling chicken chunks+free flow of lemon tea+free flow of spaghetti.yummy yummy!! i asked her did she have like this for lunch everyday and she say somewhat similar.. oh god.. i would luv to go to nisa's house everyday!!

we settle down and started to discuss our law poject.. marina joined us later on and the bunch of us had so much fun, not forgetting work is impt too..hehe..

after a while me and nisa were starting to stone as our brain juice had been dried up from trying to paraphrase and limiting the words.. Eunice saw us and started laughing @ us..haha..

Left nisa'a house @ ard 5.10p.m. While eunice walked to the LRT, marina accompanied me to take the bus 161 direct to woodlands from punggol. and from there i can either choose to take MRT or 187 direct to JP..

I choose the latter in which i dun know whether tt is a smart choice or not.

Anyway, after sitting thru 187, i alighted @ the busstop in which i can transfer to other buses which goes direct to my bus.. i waited for 502 instead of 99 cos it's express (faster)..

i waited and waited for 1/2 hr before one 502 finally popped up. but then it i guess nobody flags it and so it zoomed right before my face.. damn it.. there were these two indian gals who were also cursing and i didnt see them later so i guess they took taxi.

But i persevered on..

few 99 buses came which i could also take but needs a longer time

few 187 & 198 came which can take me to JP and from there i could take another bus

few 502B came which i couldnt take cos they stop @ somewhere

BUT

I insists on waiting for 502.

since i had already waited for so long, it must be somewhere behind rites?

I guess i was wrong..

I saw the bustop filled with ppl and gradually lesser and than the crowd came back..

but no 502..

i was hungry..

Thank god nisa's mama gave us each 2 curry puff (handmake) before we left!! Tt was my dinner!!

Finally, a double-decked 502 came and it tries to speed, wanting to avoid me. would i be tt stupid again to let it go? i raised up my hand all the while while walking to the front and i guess the driver jam-brake.. hehe=)

so i elft nisa's house @ 5.10p.m & i reached home @ 8.30p.m.. i waited for 502 for tt damn 90 min.. nisa said even go JB dun need tt long..haha..

anyway, after lesson which is already 5pm, i went home to bath & went out again with my sis to BBDC cos we have our auto driving @ 9.50p.m...

why choose so late u might ask..

tt's cos since its auto and my sis's instructor told her tt it will be more worth the $ since the last session is only $40+ compared to the normal $70+ for peak hr.. in addition, since we both wanted to try out how does it feel to drive in the night..=)

the end result is:: auto is much way better!! it doesnt stall engine, u dun have to find the biting point (& get horned for delay in movement), u dun need to pull up the handbrake since it doesnt really roll back on a slope..

will consider buying a auto car in the future den..i think so..haha..

Currently, i am @ stage 4.2 le..

i have 13 extra more lesson tt i have booked.. i am kiasu and i know tt..lol..

anyway, during this whole experience, i have met new friend & known friend from BDEFT..

i met prerana for 2 of my driving lesson and she was my grp mate last sem..

and I almost met Yin Lei whenever i have driving..haha..

and so coincidentally tt she also took the same bus as me home..

tt's 187 all the way to JP..

My driving practical test date is on the 2nd April 2009..=)

and i have all planned out..

if i didnt pass the test, i wont be going to my afternoon class later tt day...

She isnt very poor but she is living in hardship... a scenario which i couldnt imagine myself to be..

I went to the wrong class today!!

was carrying so many books with Eunice and we didnt even give a thought about it and assumed tt our lesson is in Lt 1-10.

after sitting for a while, a weird guy walked in.. and the moment he reached the computer, he started searching for Abba "I have a dream" on youtube..

me and eunice were like "duh"..

apparently, we didnt feel any strange about the atmosphere as the guy started to display the powerpoint slide on discrete random variables which is what we are supposed to learn today too..

So we thought Ashton might be sick or tt he detest our class so much cos we are a noisy bunch to the extent tt he disappear for this last lec and that that guy was to replaced him.. so we started our conversation and went on to talk abt how tt teacher looks so stern & wierd, with the "origina classmates sitting infront of us..

then afterliek around 10a.m, we started to feel weird. there were no familiar faces ard us!! then it strikes us..

We were in the wrong class!! OMG!!

so we rushed down to LT 1-02 (we know it's that class cos we have only these two rooms on our list), with eunice suddenly dropping down her whole bunch of books, making a "loud" arrival for us..lol..=p

then for the whole lesson, i was being so traumatised by the fact tt we were in a wrong class and had said so many weird things..eunice was like..hmm.. calm..haha..

anyway, no sch for tml and next week.. but it's not a free week for us nia.. gotta do research forl law assignment and macro tests are coming up..

luckily i was away on CNY..

STUDENTS from the SIM University (Uni-SIM) were shocked earlier this week to find their computers infected with a virus after logging on to the school’s website.

“I logged in to get my notes over the Chinese New Year holidays and found the website had been hacked,” said an engineering undergraduate who declined to be named. He then found himself directed to a website of unknown origin. Later, the 25-year-old discovered his computer had been infected with a virus.

“This is very inconvenient because our programmes are designed so we can work from home,” said the student who called the MediaCorp hotline.

Another student, too, said she experienced problems when trying to log in on Monday.

“I contacted the school to inform them of this problem (on Thursday) but it was still not fixed on Friday morning,” said the 24-year-old. “Without access to the website, we can’t work at all.”

When contacted on Friday evening, UniSIM’s director of IT Services Gary Teo confirmed that the website was hacked on Jan 26. As a result, malicious viruses hosted from websites in China hooked on to the UniSIM portal and began spreading to unsuspecting users.

Said Mr Teo: “We have removed all the scripts and we have also put in place protection to prevent further attacks.”

Now that the situation is under control, Mr Teo said the school has begun advising those infected with the virus to use the necessary clean-up programmes.

“At the same time, those using the browsers should also clear their caches ... Then they can proceed to access our website again.”

In the meantime, the Google advisory — which appeared on the site when it was hacked — still remains, but Mr Teo said that they have asked Google to review the site and remove the advisory.

Back from M'sia yesterday and i was too tired to blog cos the moment we were back, a phone call from my relative suddenly shocked us all..

all my relative are going to give us a CNY surprise visiting!!

More than 20+ of them are going to turn up @ our house in another 1 hr!!

Luckily, everything went smoothly although i had to give up my yoghurt drink & sis's yakult as we were out of drink..

As they haven had their dinner, we went all the way to Sheng Siong but to our dismay, they had already closed..so they decided to drive to blk 500+ to have their lunch. we followed them suit although we had already had our dinner..=)

Went back earlier than them cos they have their own car & most of them are living in the east area and so they said they will drove ys back first..=)

Btw, i ate alot at my grandma's house in M'sia!!

hehe

especially bak gua cos dad is not going to buy as the price of it has rocket-ted up..

i had a decent 3 meals a day in which it is rarely available @ home de..haha..@ most is only 2 meals..

but we also becme meals for others...the mosquitos!!

the competition for taxis is very competitive among themselves.. they will station @ the custom and will asked you whether u want taxi or not.. luckily our ah ee is there to fetch us and she knows how they charged cos the taxis there doesnt go by their meter but by what they quote..

so we finally catched a taxi & ah ee refused to divulge th rpice in fear of my mum insisting on wanna pay the price..haha..

what a eventful CNY but i've gotta lots of things to go do now... i moment i checked my mail, i had 36 unread mails and found out tt my grp mates seems quite interested in the M**O**(not conveneint to disclose here for fear of competition!!) case, so gonna go find some more articles le..

pls jus take a moment to read this:

imagine that you are fetching your son home from his sch and jus as you were watching your son while he crosses the road,

suddenly a lorry appears where your son should have been but is gone now..

u fear for the worst..

when you rushed forward, all you could see was a body whom had jus been rolled over by tt lorry, his face blurring..

what was even been heartening was tt one of his foot was missing and after looking around, it was abt half a metre away from his body..

thought tt it was jus another advertisement by the Traffic Police in exercising care & caution when driving?

THINK AGAIN.

The above fatal accident did happened.

Jus tt the deceased is a 9 years old boy from Pei Tong Primary School

and tt it was his grandma who witnesses the whole thing.

all the other facts remain..

yup, the part on his face blurring, his missing foot, his body being ROLLED over by a lorry remains..

this fatal accident happens @ Clementi @ the pedestrian cum give way turning..

the turn where if you are a SIM student will always pass by..

wat's makes my hair stand is tt the accident happens at 4.45 p.m and abt 2 hrs before tt i was driving pass the same spot..

driving-stage 2 review

met yong Qi @ the shuttle bus to bbdc.. she was @ her 2nd lesson today..

anyway, was doing my stage 2 review today so gotta do all the right turn,left turn, u-turn& slope..

was doing one right turn & there were some construction working going on so there left only 1 lane..

luckily there were one car infront of me tt lead the way or else i wouldnt have know where to turn into.. but still, i didnt turn enough & almost hit the kerb.. my instructor helped mr to turn harder..hehe..

then i bypass. eunice's house's busstop and were driving the route tt i always took to sch.. so quite familiar la..

den off i went to SIM!!

budden there were quite a number of taxis there.. and there was this taxi tt doesnt makes his intention clear.. i dunno whether he wanted to stop there or turn out so my instructor horned @ him..

OH MAN!

I was @ the busstop and jus nice there stood a whole crowd of students.. i swear they must be looking @ this direction when the horn sounded..

but anyway, everything was quite fine except tt i still dunno how to identify tt i was on a slope..it was only till i rolled back den i knew..

anyway..

i will be studying till tml den it's CNY's break!!

ended lesson today @ 5p.m..

waited for bus 154 for like abt 15 min.. and when it came it was so full.. although there were two buses for 154, the second bus tt i board already pushed me to the door already when i was like the 3rd one to get up on the bus..

anyway, the journey from SIM to JP usually took abt 45 min..

n guess wat??

i stood all the way throughout the whole journey

yup, u've got it.. whole 45min i was standing there, trying to grab the pole as some "slimy" ppl were clinging onto the pole which makes me having to reach higher up the pole..

Chinese New Year shopping

went to chinatown yesterday with my mum & sis..

it was so crowded but we still managed to squeeze thru the crowd to get the things we wanted..

mama bought a whole lot of muachi!!

Actually, we only bought abt 2kg but then the sellers were so "kind" tt i think they gave us another 1kg for free..haha..so 3kg for the price of abt $32..

then we ate the aiyu jelly, the tu-tu..

after tt, we went to shop @ JP cos sis wants mama to buy her a dangling earing for her birthday..

so we went to SK to have a look..

my sis eyed upon 1 & so do i..hehe

anyway, my earing costs abt $200 more then my sis although its suppose to be her birthday..

haha..

nvm mah, consider it as a gift for me graduating the Diploma of Financial Services lor..=)

I dun like today..

I dun like how squeezy the bus is..

I dun like how every seat seems to "squeak" today..

I dun like how we are so unlucky today..

the first printing lab tt we went in, the printer's ink is running low..

the second printing lab tt we went in, we were being chased out by a teacher saying t he has classes here @ 12p.m.

and so the three of us "kuku-ly" stood outside so as to wait for 1pm. for THEIR lesson to end..

and @ ard 12.55p.m, the teacher came out @ saw us:

"What are you waiting for?"

"Oh, to use the lab?"

~nod~

"Wait for a few more minutes to reach 1p.m"

and he walks away.............................and never return for abt 15min..

so eunice said tt since he wants to go law by law den we also go law by law lor cos it's already 1.10p.m le..

Thought tt we are so lucky to have a printer to ourself but then the unlucky part continues..
the cleaner complained to the personnel tt we are printing notes here and wanted him to close the lab.

GREAT!

and so we were being chased out again..

we stood waiting for the F***ing lab and haven even warm up the seat and there we are being chased out..

What kind of reason is this?

If they wanted to stop printing for us all the notes, take away all our refreshments and still collects the same amt of sch fees

Y CANT THEY @ LEAST LET US PRINT IN THE LAB?

WE are using our own printing paper, not theirs..

if they are tt desperate to close the lab, y cant they close it @ like 4p.m?

WHAT'S THEIR F***KING PROBLEM??

and so me & nisa had to carry tt damn heavy whole stack of paper home and to meet tml @ 8.30a.m. to print in sch again..

we thought of taking cab but its jus too ex..

Selling of used textbooks

Started my stage 2.01 practical lesson today..

nothing "hazardous" jus t there were wuite a number of vehicles parking @ the road side, which means i will have to change lanes, which means i will have to check for my blind spot umpteen times.

Anyway, started searching for a website which i can sell my used text book & i found the hardwarezone few weeks ago..

There were already a forum started by others selling used SIM/RMIT textbook..

so i jus "shuan shuan" post a quick reply and within days, there were 2 ppl who contacted me..

one which i met today, selling off my commercial law study guide for initially $15 but he pushed the price lower to $12..i gave in la since i put "price negotiable" mah..haha..

another one will be meeting when sch reopen.. and he insist on meeting me @ town cos he is studying part time & will only be in sch @ night..y cant he meet near the west area nia??

anyway, have been sick for ant 1 week le and is on the recovering stage..=)

and and

i was a bit shocked to receive the personal pic tt they took for us @ our graduation ceremony FOC..

will be going ot Wen's house for steamboat cum countdown tml..=)

I PASSED MY FTT YESTERDAY!!!

there were four of us taking this test and surprisingly, tian fu came out first..lol..

he failed his FTE 3 times and for this FTT, he went for ample times of practice..

ping came out next followed by me den shu xian..

great, all of us passed!!

oh ya, yesterday driving was so interesting la..

i think i made the instructor laugh until he stomachache..

y leh?

haha..

cos yesterday lesson was on safety routine which is checking of rear, side mirror & blind spot..

den there were once where i was going to make a right turn, and i now i had already done the procedure ( signal, check rear mirror, side mirror den check blind spot before turning the steering wheel), but then when i was abt & going to turn the steering wheel, he said "hor, never check blindspot ar!"

i replied" huh?? but i blind already leh"

den i guess u all already know what happens next

he dropped down laughing hard..

"orh, u blind already ar?"

and he kept repeating this sentence lor..

so whenever i am turning, he will said " blind le mah?"

LOL..

left turning in the circuit was so fun too la..

there was this big christmas tree and he said wanna bring one home? i replied him saying tt the tree is too big already le lah.. he den said beside got small one mah..i was like.......................

den he asked me whether i play TOTO.. i said no.. and he said "huh? nvm la, still can choose number. which number u like?"

i didnt dare throw out any number cos inside the circuit there are so many number and i am afraid tt the number threw out by me will lead me to sth that is difficult to turn like the S-Shape curve..

so fun..

i hope my next next next next instructor will be also tt interesting so tt i wont be so tense up..=)

jus back from buying book

suppose to be buying books but in hte end its only a book..lol

went to clementi bookstore with nisa first as eunice haven reach yet and realise tt they didnt sell the law of investment book and the macroeconomic book will only be in on monday..

so we told eunice to wait for us @ SIM and its the same situation except tt they got sell the investment book..

as it was quite ex, we went to the lib to check for the past yr paper and realise tt it is open book WHICH MEANS tt we die die also need to buy this book..

unless we borrow from the lib during exam which will really need to depend on our luck as there are abt 100+ ppl maybe doing the same thing as us..

luckily, nisa already bought the microeconomic book from some stranger on the internet.. it was quite new la, no highlighting, no scribbling.. and she is selling @ onli $53 instead of the original price which is $70..

so in the end, we can onli p*c* this micro book..

macro haven come yet and the busn stats book is damn thick which if we p*c* will be double thick..

and heard from others tt this book is really redundant..

so tada!!

decide again when sch reopen to see whether we really need this book or not lor..=)

For all those who dun know yet,

Jurong Point has been under going construction for a few mths and is recently opened with 100+ over new shops!!

lots of shops selling soft toys, clothes, shoes..

there is starbucks, sony style and many many more!!

Guess i will be even more addicted to going JP then ever before le..=)

AHHH.. I went up hte kerb today..

went for my practical practice today..session 2 & 5..

on the earlier practical, he was brushing up my right turn.. but when it came to the inner left turn, i jus couldnt make it so....

i went up the kerb..

not once but twice..hehe

and so when the lesson ended, he wants me to practice my steering next time so he told me tt he didnt pass me tt..aww..

then for the later practical, i told him tt i am weak @ my left turning but then he went to brush up my right turning again..haha..

and then he went on to shifting gear..

he will deliberately a few metres away from the bend to want me to change up to 3nd gear and then when approaching the bend to change down to 2nd gear..

and so when lesson ended, he told me to bring my IC next lesson cos after doing some left turn, i will be going out to the road le..

my sis already did tt today le.haha..

anyway, i saw my first practical lesson instructor today..

not once but twice and i was a bit shocked tt he actually still recognise me..lol..maybe cos i am worse bah..hehe..

It was so scary today!!

went for FTP today and of the time limit, i could only finish up to 5 booklets and till qns 7 of booklet 6 out of the full total 11 booklets..

the end result was i pass only 2 out of the 5 completed one..

guess wat?

tml is my Final Theory Evaluation lor..

hehe..

last min hug buddha's leg..

but anyway

today is also my first practical lesson

and my instructor is kinda strict as compared to my sis's and shu xian's de..

oh well..

he started off by taking out an umbrella and told me tt i can jus shade myself dun need to care abt him..

but u knoe, out of basic courtesy, i jus shade him too..=p

den another instructor saw tt and say "wah so good got someone to shade you" and then he turns and take out an umbrella to his student saying tt "i also need to get u an umbrella"

haha.. so funny sia..

but den his face is so strict and fierce la.. i didnt quite like the idea of talking sth wrong so i jus keep my mouth shut most of the time..

we started off by engaging the first and reverse gear, moving front & back..

then later we practice turning ard bends...

god tt was so hard..

most of the the time i am always out of my lane when turning..

i either turn too slow or turn too fast..

anyway, 一回生二回熟 mah..the more u practice the better u will get.=p

today, i met nisa @ 11a.m. to pay the sch fees which is due on 1 dec..

although i was late,

as usual she is late-r den me too..haha..

after paying the $5307.20 sch fees, we went to redeem our gift for the renewal of SIM membership..

den while walking to the bus stop, guess who i saw????

XIN XIAN!!

haha..

though we both studied in the same sch and our sch isnt tt big, we still doesnt have the "lucky" chance to bump into each other..

so we talk and talk and talk..

i asked xian abt her result ans she said ok lor.. but got no As only Bs..haha..still the same her.. set so high std nia..

after xian, nisa & me alight at clementi, we went seperate way

met sis @ JP but she haven reach yet so i took a walk @ This Fashion.. bought a shirt anyway..

after tt, we went to Body Shop and shop like crazy..

cos i got discount, so i bought

foundation, lip balmss, shampoo+conditioner,serum

and since i make it to the above $100 marks, they give me 1 free set of bathing things worth $53++

wahhahahaha..

went to exchange $$ later..

S$1,002 in exhange of A$1,000...

An outing day- part 2

on the train to going home i saw sis's msg and she told me tt dad wanna go suntec city..

so i return home and after bathing, i went out again..

but now we decided to do to the Food Fair @ Expo..=)

yum yum..

since we only have potato soup jus now, we decided to have our dinner @ there..those free food..

wow!!

there were jus so many ppl la!!

and some were so rough..

luckily @ the beginning, we saw hotdogs on sale..many variety and mum bought 3s for $10..

so since it's frozen and i am the one taking it, heheh..

those whom i "accidentally" use the plastic bag to brush across them were like looking down to see wth is tt cold cold thingy..lol..

went to buy nuggets (3s for $7), chicken floss, cod fish with free scallops, & many many more..

finally, we took the train home..

so tired though but looking @ all the food tt we had bought, i guess cooking up dinner next week wont be tt difficult anymore!!

met delvine, nisa, eunice and her bf @ vivo for a meet-up..

so i arrange t0 met delvine @ JE first and we went to walk walk vivo first cos eunice+bf haven reach yet..

talk about lotsa of things with del..

den eunice + bf came le and we decided to settle our lunch @ super hotdogs

but me & del ate burgers while eunice+bf ate fish & chips & fries..haha..

after eunice's bf went away, we started to frantically took photos.....

den after he came back, we force eunice to take with him..haha..

after tt, we started to shop ard to wait for nisa..

den while eunice's bf went to find atm to withdraw $$, we went into candy empire and bought a packet of chocolate den we shared the cost..

but nothing much to shop la so went to the roof top and enjoy the scenery..
